
Holly first discovered her affinity for clay while studying at Alma College. In 2014, Holly graduated Cum Laude with Departmental Honors, receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics. She furthered her studies through the Post-Baccalaureate program at Studio Art Centers International in Florence, Italy and received her Master of Fine Arts in Ceramics from Tulane University in 2019. Passionate to share her knowledge of the science and magic of clay, Holly has held Studio Technician, Teaching Assistant, and Ceramic Instructor positions at several collegiate institutions, latest being Grand Valley State University. Selections from her newest body of work have been exhibited in Oregon, California, Louisiana, New York, Michigan, and Tennessee. Recently, Holy has received recognition for her work, winning the Emerging Artist Sculpture Award at the Michigan Ceramics Biennial Exhibit and the Juried Award-3D Category in the ArtPrize 2021 International Juried Art Competition.
